Hello. I just finished reading A Wrinkle In Time for the first time. I have to say it really did excite me and get me thinking. I am thirtyone and have always loved books. I purchased A Wrinkle In Time to read to my children, though they may still be a bit young for it. They are seven and four. This book was a favorite of my sisters when she was young and so it peaked my interest. It seemed as I was reading it to really resonate some of the issues that are prevalent at this time. So much is talked about now as far the world comeing to an end. There was an article on yahoo a while ago about scientist learning that the Milky Way or Earth seems to be older than they thought and the way they tell is by the colors it admits through space. It seems to have a greenish hugh. I’m no scientist and I’m sure I have bungled that but the point is, it just seems there are connection between that and the dark matter. Plus the hole Mia calendar thing and odd that the books 50th anniversary is in 2012? I’m really not a gloom and doom person and the book ends on a wonderful note. Love truely can conqure all and is so important. We as a whole seem to be looseing site of that in our selfish clawing to get to the top. The top of what I ask? I hope we can all find the love like Meg did and stear clear of the anger. Thank you Madeleine for a wonderful book!
I like the new design — nice job! My one suggestion would be regarding the rotating images on the front page of the site. Maybe it’s just my 40-something eyes, but I find the transition between the images to be jarring. Perhaps they could transition more subtly and display for a longer period of time?
